  1. Imagine spending your entire life training to become one of the best animators on earth and then being remembered for this.

  2. They shouldve never thought of remaking the Grinch Jim Carrey will forever be the best Grinch nd they had to animate it too what a waste of money.

  3. i am a bit disappointed with th Grinches voice,  I was really hoping that  Benedict Cumberbatch would voice the Grinch in a british accent.  I was picturing  somethin like a down to earth Smaug.

  4. its interesting to see that unlike the Jim Carrey version of the Grinch  this one lives in a nice clean cave rather than junkyard  cave and he appears to visit Whoville just to shop so he his les of an outcast and more of someone who just hates people.

  5. Illumination is gonna become the next Sony. While i doubt this will be as bad as the live action films or Lorax, no one can beat Boris Karloff. Not even the beloved Jim Carrey (even though he was the only good thing about that film lol)

  6. I feel like this will be a repeat of the last illumination Dr Suess adaptation, bland and forgettable until some part of it gets revived as a stupid meme 5 years later.

  7. Jim Carrey’s Grinch will be the best forever
But this will be the best animated Grinch movie
    So it’s 50/50 boys

  8. The live action Grinch proved that this story, while great, should never be expanded into a feature-length presentation. It does not need further backstory or additional information, in fact, all those extras take away from the story's central message. Boris Karloff's original narration of the story was magical and perfect. Why does Hollywood continue to remake what does not need to be remade? I am so tired of their laziness. How about something new for a change?

  9. Illumination continues to crap on Dr. Seuss's grave. I like Cumberbatch as much as the next guy, and I think he will do a good performance, it's the fact that this is being made by the same studio that's capitalizing on minions (an unfunny rip off of the aliens from Toy Story) so much I swore I would never set foot in Universal studios again, does not give any hope in this movie being good at all.

  10. To wait until November? Man it's March now! Why to release trailer so early? We still have a summer to go.

  11. I continue to question the need for yet another grinch movie, and the inside of Mt. Crumpit is unrealistically bright and happy, but the animation is quite beautiful.

  12. They should stick to how the jim carrey version was, that movie was fantastic. From what i see, this movie will be a "fart joke" kinda thing, or be funny by being stupid
